Cubot X18 Pros And Cons

Cubot X18 Pros And Cons The benefits of the X18 are obvious but are there any faults to consider? Yes, and we will explain them here as well as elaborate on the finer features the X18 possess and why.

Design

Batteries for the majority of androids these days are built in alleviating the possibility of using a spare battery or easily a replacing damaged one.

Someone close to me is currently experiencing that problem right now after dropping their Android in the toilet it does not charge like it did. An easily removable and replaceable a battery is a blessing the Cubot  X18 has that I wish was the case with more androids.

Sim card slot and SD card slot often interchangeable with slim androids which is always irritating, who wants to have to choose between single sim with SD card or Dual sim with no SD card?

128GB SD is the maximum the X18 can accept on top of the 32GB internal memory. Operating system and the preinstalled applications use memory as is the case with all smartphones, of the 30GB internal memory 24GB is available for use.

Antutu benchmarks reveal CPU performance of 37976 for the X18, lower than the top performers of 2014 but that should give you an idea of the X18's MTK6737T 1.5GHz Quad Core CPU's capability.

Display
Screen size is 5.7 inches and 1440 X 720 resolution just above your 1280x720 standard HD. Screen PPI (Pixels Per Inch) measures at 282 to give you an idea of the quality here are some more known brands with screen sizes and PPI's.

Pro Obvious
Including a case is an obvious pro that is not always the case, thankfully Cubot has done the obvious with the X18.

NFC
Near Field Communication is not a feature incorporated into the Cubot X18. NFC makes it so easy to pay for things and a blessing on public transport if the company you travel with supports the feature you can gain instant access to information like train roots and bus times where ever you see the symbol.

Type C USB
Some recent models have gone as far as removing the 3.5mm port and incorporating only type C USB which is faster than USB 2.0 and oval shaped so you always plug it in the right way round. Type C also often accompanies quick charge, taking advantage of the faster transfer rates.

Defects
Everything works fine with the Cubot X18 it does exactly as described all is responsive it's biggest faults are not with what it has but what it does not have.

Cons Why Should Not Buy The X18

No NFC
No Gyroscope
